President Ilham Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan is ready to participate in the reconstruction process in Syria, which is necessary to strengthen stability in this country.
Army.az reports that the head of state said this during a meeting with the transitional President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmed Al-Sharaa, in Antalya.
The President said that after the changes in Syria, an Azerbaijani delegation was sent to this country as soon as possible, and the Azerbaijani embassy in Syria, which had been inactive for a long time due to the policies of the Assad regime, resumed its activities.
