
NEW STUDY BY AUSTRALIAN SCIENTISTS
Eating eggs every day prevents cardiovascular diseases. The study conducted by Australian scientists involved 8,756 volunteers over the age of 70 who did not have serious cardiovascular diseases. The results showed that people who ate eggs every day had a 29 percent lower risk of dying from heart disease.
The results of the study were published in the journal “Nutrients”.
According to scientists from Monash University in Australia, 100 grams of eggs contain about 13 grams of protein, which is absorbed more efficiently than other proteins of animal or plant origin.
