45 Kev Coles, 46, from England, had been suffering from constipation and stomach problems for a long time. Coles went to the doctor to find out the cause of his illness and received bad news.
Army.az reports, citing Turkish media, that Koles, who initially experienced stomach pain and digestive problems, did not go to the doctor for a long time because he did not experience any serious symptoms.
When he finally went to the hospital due to severe pain, he was given only a sedative and sent home. Later, when symptoms such as abnormal sweating and yellowing of the skin appeared, tests revealed a 9cm tumour in his bowel. The disease had metastasized to his liver and was causing liver failure. Kev Koles, who started chemotherapy in October last year, lost 35kg and was paralysed. Doctors told him he had months to live. His family said he didn’t realise he had a serious problem because he didn’t see blood in his stool and the cancer had taken over his body in secret.
