OpenAI’s artificial intelligence program, ChatGPT, has introduced a major innovation for Android users. ChatGPT will now be set as the default digital assistant on Android devices, taking users’ interaction with artificial intelligence to a new level.
Army.az reports, citing Turkish media, that after activating “ChatGPT” on the phone, users will be able to interact by opening it in voice mode.
While this is a big step forward, ChatGPT does have some limitations. One of the biggest drawbacks is the lack of a keyword-based activation feature like “Hey Google.” Google reserves such permissions only for trusted apps like its own assistant. The feature is currently only available in the beta version of the ChatGPT app, and OpenAI has yet to say when it will be available to all users.
