The Earth has been engulfed by the most powerful magnetic storm since the beginning of 2025.
Army informs, citing Izvestia, that this was reported by the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The event was preceded by a large explosion on the Sun. Strong geomagnetic activity is expected towards the evening of March 23. Scientists have noted that fluctuations in the Earth’s field could cause bad news.
The magnetic storm will subside by Monday afternoon.
