The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) intends to appoint a foreign head coach for the national team.

Army informs that the local UOL publication reported this.

Following the dismissal of Dorival Junior, the CBF is considering three main candidates: Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid), Josep Guardiola (Manchester City) and Jorge Jesus (Al-Hilal).

Allegedly, the president of the organization, Ednaldo Rodriguez, prefers Ancelotti’s candidacy.

It should be noted that the Brazilian national team most recently lost to Argentina in the 2026 World Cup qualifying round with a score of 1:4.
