Russian President Vladimir Putin’s investment envoy Kirill Dmitriev announced that today he will continue the meeting with the US delegation in Washington, Army.az informs.
“On April 2-3, at the request of Russian President Putin, I will hold meetings in Washington with representatives of the administration of President Donald Trump,” CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev wrote on Telegram.
He noted that the dialogue between Russia and the United States, which was completely destroyed under the Joe Biden administration, is very important for the entire world.
“Yes, restoring dialogue is a difficult and gradual process. But every meeting, every frank conversation allows us to move forward. A real understanding of the Russian position opens up new opportunities for constructive interaction, including in the investment and economic sphere,” Dmitriev said.
On Wednesday, Dmitriev and the US leader’s special representative, Steven Witkoff, reportedly held a meeting in Washington.
