Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel Gideon Saar in Abu Dhabi.

Army.Az reports that the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has published information about this.

It was noted that the meeting discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel, as well as the regional and global situation.

The prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic, trade, investment, and humanitarian spheres were discussed, and the role of the Joint Commission between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the State of Israel was noted.

The parties also emphasized the importance of strengthening the exchange of experience in the fields of high technologies, healthcare, and education.

It was once again noted that our country supports the establishment of peace and stability in the Middle East region, including the process of a peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on international law.

The other side was also informed in detail about the current situation and realities in the region during the post-conflict period, the large-scale reconstruction and construction work carried out in the liberated territories, efforts to combat the mine threat, as well as the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process.

During the meeting, views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
